Jack M. Merritts practices in the areas of litigation, mining law, environmental law and oil and gas law. Mr. Merritts was admitted to practice in Colorado and before the United States District Court in Colorado in 1973. He was also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit in 1987. He attended Pennsylvania State University where he earned his B.S. in Mining Engineering with highest distinction in 1970. He completed his higher education at Harvard University in 1973, where he received his J.D. Jack Merritts has been practicing law, as a private attorney, for 25 years in the western region of the United States.
